2022 Peter Lehmann Botrytis Semillon Half Bottle 375ml, Barossa Valley

With the Barossa’s warm lingering summers, it is a natural home for Botrytis cinerea, used to masterfully craft this wine and show diversity of Semillon.

The colour is bright gold reflecting the long hang time on the vine in the presence of the noble mould, botrytis cinerea. There are tropical fruit flavours coming through and the wine has a lusciously sweet finish balanced by superb natural acidity- a very stylish dessert wine. This is a wine that can be matured in the bottle for a number of years if desired during which time it will become richer in colour and more complex.
