Rockbare sources fruit from low-yielding vineyards across the Barossa Valley, where ancient soils and warm days produce Shiraz grapes with depth and concentration. The winemaking focuses on balance and approachability. Fermentation is done in small batches with gentle extraction, followed by maturation in a mix of American and French oak—mostly seasoned, with just enough new oak to add sweet spice and structure without overwhelming the fruit.

In the glass, it offers classic Barossa aromas of blackberry, plum, dark chocolate, and vanilla bean, with hints of mocha and clove. The palate is rich and full bodied, showing black cherry and liquorice with velvety tannins and a generous, round finish.
