2022 Rusden Driftsand GSM, Vine Vale, Barossa Valley

The great ‘All-rounder’. Spicy, savoury, generous fruit. Matured 2 months in old French oak. Pale garnet colour. On the nose there’s loads of rich fruit characters and the gentle spice gives the wine a savoury edge.
 
An iconic blend made distinctly Barossan, the 21 vintage has left it's harmonious footprint with power and grace to boot. Fruit, florals, spice on the nose with a palate that sees fruit weight, tannin and acid in perfect sync.
 
For a wine of this price the complexity and balance is always impressive but this vintage really drives the point.
