There’s a lot of flavour and fruit packed into this juicy and lively wine. It’s full of black plums, fruit pastilles, licorice and freshly picked herbs. The palate is lighter framed yet drenched in fruit sweetness, with some tangy acidity. Just the tannins have a green walnut edge, making the finish bitter, but some salumi should assuage that.

KP Naturally Grenache from Margaret River is a vibrant and energetic red that showcases the lighter, more playful side of Grenache through a natural, minimal-intervention lens. Made by Keiran Parker, this is a wine that embraces freshness, purity, and texture without sacrificing complexity—think bright fruit, savoury spice, and a juicy, unfiltered charm that makes it as fun as it is thoughtfully made.

Grown in the warm, gravelly soils of Margaret River’s northern reaches, the Grenache is picked early for freshness and handled gently in the winery. Whole bunches are included in the ferment to build aromatic lift and crunchy tannin. Wild yeast fermentation and no additions keep the wine honest and expressive. It’s bottled unfined and unfiltered, with nothing added apart from a tiny touch of sulphur at bottling, if any at all.

In the glass, expect aromas of wild strawberry, cherry, crushed herbs, and peppery spice with a hint of raspberry leaf and dried rose. The palate is light to medium bodied with bright acidity, soft tannins, and a deliciously juicy finish. It’s lively, savoury, and made to drink slightly chilled.
