2023 Longview Whippet Sauvignon Blanc, Adelaide Hills

It's strongly varietal with lots of passionfruit, gooseberry, green herbs and tangy, limey acidity. Generally does a very good trick of delivering a classic dry white wine of sauvignon blanc. Perhaps missing some fireworks of more textural, savoury examples, but geez, there's bang for buck here and a lot of refreshment factor on offer. Easy drinking, wildly pleasing, simply done good.
