Pinot gris done well means it has texture, flavour, a certain level of complexity and a refreshment factor, too. All here, it’s honeysuckle and lemon blossom with wood spices, nashi pear and baked pears, plus lots of texture. There’s also oyster shell and slippery phenolics bolstering the palate, while bright acidity keeps everything in a straight line. Nice one.

Pinot Gris displays tangerine, mandarin and a little green pear on the nose, forming an exotic but fresh mix. The riper pear flavours are more exuberant on the palate early, but the freshness and zing of tangerine builds and provides nice length, leaving a crisp, refined & fresh finish that immediately invites another try.
