The grapes are sourced from long-term grower vineyards, many with mature vines deeply rooted in clay and loam soils. Fermentation takes place in small open vats with regular pump-overs to extract colour and flavour, followed by maturation in a mix of French and American oak hogsheads for up to eighteen months. This careful approach builds depth and complexity while retaining freshness and balance.

In the glass it shows deep crimson with purple hues. The aroma is rich and inviting, with dark plum, blackberry, and black cherry interwoven with hints of chocolate, pepper, and warm spice. The palate is full bodied and generous, offering layers of ripe fruit, mocha, and savoury oak framed by smooth tannins and vibrant acidity.
