A medium-weight, textural expression of gris. Lots of brown-flesh pear scents and flavours, some tangerine and orange peel characters, a lick of lychee and some floral uplift – the bouquet and palate matching on these words. There's a slide and glide in texture though the finish tidies up with a little grip and some faint spice. The gentle level of concentration here is also appealing.

Nashi pear, red apple and a hint of minerality. Medium bodied with a super crisp, mouth-watering finish. This Pinot Gris will have you coming back for more and is extremely well matched with caramelised onion and blue cheese tart.
Taking inspiration from the dry styles of Pinot Gris from Alsace. This vintage was slightly lower in yield, providing an excellent concentration of flavour. A small amount of the wine is fermented in barrel for complexity.
The 'Beurre Bosc' is named after the pear orchard that was 'repurposed' for Pinot Gris vines when Pike & Joyce was established. Our site in the Lenswood subregion of the Adelaide Hills has proven to be very well suited to Pinot Gris, with this release being our 21st consecutive vintage.
