2023 Printhie Mountain Range Cabernet Sauvignon, Orange

Orange Cabernet Sauvignon has a regional personality shaped by the local altitude and cool nights that preserve the variety's natural herbal and blackcurrant character. The Mountain Range is Cabernet done simply and well: ripe fruit, a genuine savoury edge and the kind of medium-bodied structure that makes it instinctively food-friendly.

Blackcurrant and boysenberry on the nose with hedgerow, spearmint and a waft of clove and warm spice. The palate is ripe and satisfying with grainy tannins, good vitality and a dry, tidy finish.

Good with herb-crusted lamb or a simple beef and mushroom pie — the wine's blackcurrant fruit and savoury spice are good company for something hearty.
