Grown on mature vines rooted in the sandy clay soils of Cheverny’s Fougères-sur-Bièvre, the ‘Butterfly’ label is 100% Sauvignon Blanc raised on lees without any oak. From a wonderful Loire vintage, it’s a pithy, succulent, focused Sauvignon with white pepper, citrus fruit, and fresh herb flavours. Then, there’s a glide of mouth-watering acidity and a fine, chalky finish. Proper, pourable Loire Sauvignon, done right.
