A light lemon yellow colour in a glass that has fragrant notes of papaya and smoked honey. Richer on the palate than the nose suggested, ripe mango and passionfruit notes with curry spices suggest some oak work. Good length and the acid remains supple but persistent to lengthen the dry finish 11 JAN 2024 Drink 2024–2029

Vibrant green gold. Punchy guava with white flesh nectarine, and a hint of passionfruit pulp lift from the glass. There is an underlying lime zest note that helps to support these exotic characters. Citrus and subtle creamy elements help to complex the wine. This is a multi-layered, and engaging nose.
Ripe nectarines, guava, some flinty highlights, with a lime zest finish. The palate has wonderful textures, while retaining a juiciness of fruit and lightness. There is great intensity of fruit, and fantastic length of flavour. The wine finished with a chalky mineral acidity, but subtle fruit flavours linger with this cleansing finale. The length of palate is the real key here - this is a Sauvignon Blanc that can be ruminated upon, but also just enjoyed.
