Vibrant, savoury and red-fruited blend of Grenache and Mourvèdre
85/15% grenache from Seaview/Mourvèdre from Whites Valley; 15% whole bunch. Strawberry, raspberry and morello cherry, intensely rendered – though with plenty of airspace, transparency and flow – along with scrubby herbs, dried bay, turned earth, blood orange, cracked pepper and some darker spices. It has volume but not weight on the palate, the tannins finely wrought yet chewy, a burst of freshness to close. Drink to 2030.

This is a fresh and vibrant blend with luminous, red-fruited Grenache from the Romano family’s vineyard in the subregion of Seaview complemented by savoury Mourvèdre (aka Mataro) from the Lacey family’s Willunga vineyard.
Versatile at the table, we’d pair this with something that features herbs or citrus. Try with Vietnamese grilled lemongrass pork chops, or lamb cutlets with anchovy butter and fresh rosemary.
