Domaine Lucien Muzard has long been regarded as one of the Côte de Beaune's finest family estates, quietly producing wines of authenticity, balance and exceptional value. Brothers Claude and Hervé Muzard continue the family's traditional approach, crafting expressive Burgundies that faithfully reflect their vineyards through meticulous viticulture and restrained winemaking. Their Bourgogne Rouge is a superb introduction to the domaine's elegant house style.

The 2024 vintage delivered beautifully balanced fruit, with ideal growing conditions preserving freshness while allowing excellent flavour development. Gentle extraction and careful oak maturation retain the purity of the fruit while highlighting the finesse and vibrancy that define classic Burgundy.

Bright ruby with crimson highlights, the bouquet opens with aromas of wild cherry, raspberry and redcurrant layered with rose petals, subtle spice and delicate forest floor notes. The palate is silky and beautifully balanced, combining vibrant red berry fruit with fine tannins, lively acidity and a gentle mineral thread.
