Ripe and fresh aromas include those of plum, black cherry and prominent earth nuances. The succulent, round and delicious middle weight flavors possess a lovely sense of vibrancy before concluding in a balanced and inviting finish. To enjoy young and I would add that this is worth considering for a value no nonsense red. Outstanding

87-89 points Allen Meadows, Burghound Jan 2026 Drink: 2027+

The 2024 Bourgogne Pinot Noir has a pleasant mulberry and raspberry-scented nose, with a hint of potpourri in the background. Good presence and fruit concentration. The palate is medium-bodied with crunchy tannins. Fresh, a bit rustic, plenty of red fruit here...Give it six months once in bottle. Drink: 2026 - 2030

Neal Martin, Vinous Jan 2026

Domaine Rossignol-Février is a small family estate based in Volnay, one of Burgundy's most celebrated villages for elegant Pinot Noir. While the domaine's Premier Crus attract plenty of attention, its Bourgogne Rouge is a lovely introduction to the family's style, capturing the fragrance, freshness and understated charm of the Côte de Beaune.

Made from Pinot Noir, the 2024 reflects a cooler, more challenging Burgundy vintage that favoured careful vineyard work and gentle handling in the cellar. The result is a lighter, beautifully aromatic red, with bright fruit and the delicate structure that makes good regional Burgundy such a pleasure to drink.

Brilliant ruby red with translucent crimson edges. Fresh red cherry, wild strawberry and raspberry mingle with violet, dried rose petals and a touch of earthy spice. The palate is juicy and finely textured, with lively red berries, refreshing acidity and soft, delicate tannins. A hint of forest floor and gentle savoury spice carries through the clean, fragrant finish.

Try it with Japanese chicken yakitori, roasted pumpkin and mushroom tart, or grilled salmon with miso glazed eggplant. Its bright fruit and gentle tannins also make it a terrific match for charcuterie, particularly served slightly cool.

Cellaring: Drink now to 2030. Best appreciated for its youthful fragrance and lively red fruit.
