This hails from strong limestone soils, where it performs best in cooler years. The nose is finessed with elegant scents of broom, citrus pith and Marcona almonds. A cool, fresh and airy nose features aromas of mostly white orchard fruit, floral and more apparent citrus nuances. Here too there is fine mid-palate density and volume to the seductively textured medium weight flavors that display fine length on the balanced, clean and nicely dry finale where a discreet hint of wood appears. Rully has become one of the Côte Chalonnaise's standout villages for Chardonnay, producing wines that combine freshness, elegance and exceptional value. The Les Villeranges vineyard highlights the appellation's limestone rich soils and cool climate, delivering a style that is vibrant, finely textured and unmistakably Burgundian. The 2024 vintage provided ideal conditions for Chardonnay, producing fruit with excellent concentration while preserving lively natural acidity. Careful vineyard management and thoughtful maturation in French oak have added subtle texture and complexity, allowing the vineyard's purity and mineral character to remain at the forefront.

Pale straw with brilliant golden highlights, the bouquet opens with aromas of white peach, lemon zest and ripe pear, complemented by white blossom, toasted hazelnut and delicate flinty notes. Gentle hints of brioche and wet stone emerge with time, adding depth and complexity. The palate is fresh and beautifully balanced, combining citrus and orchard fruit flavours with a creamy texture, vibrant acidity and a finely etched mineral line. The finish is long, precise and refreshing, lingering with chalky minerality and subtle oak spice.
