Fazi Battaglia Titulus Verdicchio Classico DOC offers citrus, peach and almond with mineral freshness and Marche character.
Fazi Battaglia has been synonymous with Verdicchio since the 1940s, helping introduce one of Italy's finest white grape varieties to wine lovers around the world. Based in the rolling hills of Marche, the winery combines generations of experience with modern winemaking to produce wines that celebrate freshness, purity and regional character.
Verdicchio Classico thrives in the limestone rich hills between the Apennines and the Adriatic Sea, where warm sunshine and cooling maritime breezes create wines of vibrant acidity and remarkable versatility. Titulus is a contemporary expression of this historic variety, highlighting Verdicchio's signature citrus, orchard fruit and subtle almond notes.
The colour is a brilliant pale straw with green highlights. Aromas of lemon zest, green apple and white peach are joined by white flowers, fresh herbs and a hint of almond. The palate is crisp and beautifully balanced, layering citrus and orchard fruits over lively acidity and a gentle mineral thread. The finish is long, refreshing and distinctly Italian, with Verdicchio's classic almond note lingering delicately.
Perfect with grilled prawns, seafood risotto, linguine alle vongole, zucchini fritters or burrata with fresh basil and olive oil. Drink now while its freshness, vibrant fruit and aromatic charm are at their peak.
