Several different blocks and clones have contributed to a very tidy young Chardonnay. A feature is its texture and beautiful mouthfeel with flavours of melon, light cashew and a little melon. The oak has been lightly applied with just a small amount of new oak to lift and spice things up. Further complexity comes from the lees stirring approach. A balanced and highly appealing Chardonnay.

Howard Park Miamup Chardonnay from Margaret River delivers incredible value for lovers of cool-climate Chardonnay. Made by one of Western Australia’s most respected producers, this wine captures all the hallmarks of great Margaret River Chardonnay — freshness, texture, and pure fruit — at a price that seriously over-delivers.
Sourced from vineyards across the southern reaches of the region, where sea breezes and ancient gravelly soils provide perfect growing conditions, Miamup is crafted with a minimalist approach. The fruit is hand-picked, whole bunch pressed, and fermented in a mix of stainless steel and seasoned French oak, with partial malolactic fermentation and lees stirring for added complexity.
The result is a bright, modern Chardonnay with aromas of white nectarine, lemon zest, pear skin and a touch of flinty minerality. The palate is crisp and finely textured, showing citrus, stone fruit and hints of grilled nuts, all balanced by zesty acidity and a dry, mineral-driven finish.
Pair with grilled snapper and salsa verde, roast chicken with lemon and thyme, or a creamy corn and ricotta tart. It’s also perfect with soft cheeses or a summer seafood platter. Best enjoyed young, though it will hold for up to 3 to 5 years.
