Jane Eyre has become one of Burgundy's most respected modern winemakers, earning international acclaim for her elegant, terroir driven wines. As the first Australian recipient of the Négociant of the Year award from La Revue du Vin de France, she has firmly established herself among Burgundy's elite. Her Bourgogne Blanc reflects this meticulous approach, transforming regional Chardonnay into a wine of remarkable purity, finesse and authenticity.

The 2024 vintage produced beautifully balanced fruit, with warm days and cool nights preserving freshness while allowing excellent flavour development. Sourced from carefully selected vineyards across Burgundy, the wine is crafted with a light touch, allowing the region's limestone soils and vibrant fruit to shine while subtle oak maturation adds texture and complexity.

Pale straw with brilliant golden highlights, the bouquet opens with aromas of lemon zest, white peach and ripe pear, complemented by white blossom, toasted almond and a delicate flinty note. The palate is beautifully poised, combining vibrant citrus and orchard fruit with a creamy texture, lively acidity and a fine mineral thread. Long, elegant and beautifully balanced, the finish lingers with chalky freshness and subtle hints of brioche.

A superb match for roast chicken, grilled John Dory, scallops, lobster with beurre blanc or a creamy mushroom risotto. Delicious on release, this refined white Burgundy has the balance and precision to reward careful cellaring over the coming years.
