Faiveley Bourgogne Rouge captures vibrant Pinot Noir fruit with freshness, finesse and the timeless charm of Burgundy.
Bourgogne Rouge is often the first introduction to the elegance and character of Burgundy, and in the hands of Maison Joseph Faiveley it is far more than a simple regional wine. Founded in 1825, the family owned estate has spent seven generations crafting wines that faithfully express the diversity of Burgundy, bringing the same care and attention to its regional appellations as it does to its celebrated Premier and Grand Cru vineyards.
The 2024 vintage produced fruit of impressive purity and freshness, sourced from carefully selected vineyards across Burgundy. Limestone rich soils and a cool continental climate provide the ideal conditions for Pinot Noir, while gentle vinification and measured oak maturation preserve the variety's bright fruit, lively acidity and delicate structure.
Bright ruby red in colour, the bouquet opens with aromas of red cherry, raspberry and wild strawberry accompanied by hints of violet, subtle spice and a touch of forest floor. The palate is fresh, vibrant and beautifully balanced, combining juicy red berry fruit with supple tannins and fine acidity. A delicate mineral thread and gentle savoury notes carry through to a clean, elegant finish that reflects the hallmark finesse of Burgundy.
A versatile food wine, it pairs beautifully with roast chicken, duck rillettes, grilled pork, mushroom tart or a charcuterie board shared with friends. Approachable from release, it is a classic everyday Burgundy that delivers both charm and authenticity.
