Nestled in the rolling hills of the Valpolicella Classico zone, Le Salette has been family owned since the 1860s and is today run by the Scamperle family. The estate has built a strong reputation for combining traditional Veronese winemaking with modern organic farming practices, producing wines that capture the freshness and charm of the region while remaining true to their origins. Their vineyards lie among the limestone rich slopes north of Verona, where generations of growers have cultivated Corvina, Rondinella and Corvinone.

The 2024 Valpolicella Classico Organic is sourced from certified organic vineyards in the heart of the appellation. Cool evenings and hillside exposures help preserve bright fruit flavours and natural acidity, creating a wine that is vibrant, aromatic and effortlessly drinkable. Unlike the richer Amarone styles for which the region is famous, Valpolicella Classico focuses on freshness, elegance and pure fruit expression.

Bright ruby red in colour, the wine opens with lifted aromas of red cherry, wild strawberry and raspberry, accompanied by hints of violet, dried herbs and sweet spice. The palate is juicy and energetic, delivering flavours of sour cherry, cranberry and red plum wrapped around a silky texture. Fine tannins and lively acidity provide balance and structure, while subtle notes of almond and spice emerge on the finish, adding complexity without sacrificing freshness.
