Les Héritiers du Comte Lafon Mâcon-Milly-Lamartine showcases elegant white Burgundy with mineral freshness and exceptional value.
Pale in colour again, but this time with a stricter, more electric nose. Well-judged ripeness, white fruit with apples and a few pears. Very well balanced and more persistent than Prissé. Drink from 2025-2027. Tasted Oct 2025.

Les Héritiers du Comte Lafon was established to bring the renowned Comte Lafon philosophy to the Mâconnais, crafting wines that express the purity and individuality of southern Burgundy's finest vineyards. Through organic farming, meticulous vineyard management and sensitive winemaking, the domaine has become one of the region's benchmark producers, consistently delivering white Burgundies of elegance, precision and remarkable value.
The 2024 vintage delivered beautifully balanced fruit, with ideal growing conditions preserving freshness while allowing excellent flavour development. Limestone-rich soils and thoughtful maturation have produced a wine of vibrant energy, refined texture and impressive mineral character.
Pale gold with brilliant straw highlights, the bouquet reveals aromas of lemon zest, white peach and ripe pear layered with white blossom, toasted almond and delicate flinty notes. The palate is beautifully poised, combining vibrant citrus and stone fruit with creamy texture, lively acidity and a finely etched mineral backbone. Long, fresh and wonderfully balanced, the finish lingers with saline minerality and subtle spice.
A superb match for grilled prawns, roast chicken, seared scallops, creamy mushroom risotto or aged Comté. Equally enjoyable as an aperitif or at the table, this beautifully crafted white Burgundy offers immediate appeal and the balance to reward short-term cellaring.
Cellaring: Drink now to 2035.
