Les Héritiers du Comte Lafon was created to extend the renowned Comte Lafon philosophy into the Mâconnais, producing wines that faithfully express the region's finest terroirs. Organic viticulture, meticulous vineyard management and restrained winemaking have established the domaine among the leading producers of southern Burgundy. Clos du Four is a distinguished single vineyard in Mâcon-Milly-Lamartine, producing wines of purity, elegance and mineral precision.

The 2024 vintage delivered beautifully balanced fruit, with ideal growing conditions preserving freshness while encouraging exceptional flavour development. The vineyard's limestone-rich soils and careful maturation have produced a wine of remarkable harmony, vibrant energy and impressive depth.

Brilliant pale gold in colour, the bouquet reveals aromas of lemon zest, ripe pear and white peach layered with citrus blossom, toasted almond and delicate flinty notes. As the wine opens, hints of wet stone and subtle spice emerge, adding further complexity. The palate is beautifully poised, combining vibrant citrus and orchard fruit with creamy texture, lively acidity and a finely etched mineral backbone. Long, elegant and wonderfully persistent, the finish lingers with saline freshness and refined minerality.

A superb partner for grilled lobster, roast chicken, seared scallops, creamy mushroom risotto or aged Comté. Equally enjoyable on release or after careful cellaring, this is a beautifully crafted white Burgundy from one of the Mâconnais' benchmark producers.
