Les Héritiers du Comte Lafon was established by the legendary Comte Lafon family to showcase the outstanding vineyards of the Mâconnais with the same uncompromising philosophy that has made their Meursaults world famous. Through meticulous vineyard management, organic farming and sensitive winemaking, the domaine has become a benchmark for refined, terroir-driven Chardonnay. En Chatenay is one of Pouilly-Fuissé's finest sites, producing wines of remarkable elegance, purity and mineral precision.

The 2024 vintage delivered beautifully balanced fruit, with ideal growing conditions preserving freshness while encouraging outstanding flavour development. Limestone-rich soils and careful barrel maturation have created a wine of impressive depth and texture while retaining the vibrant fruit and mineral tension that define great Pouilly-Fuissé.

Brilliant pale gold in colour, the bouquet reveals aromas of lemon zest, white peach and ripe pear layered with citrus blossom, toasted hazelnut and delicate flinty notes. As the wine unfolds, hints of wet stone, brioche and subtle spice emerge, adding complexity and refinement. The palate is beautifully poised, combining vibrant citrus and stone fruit with creamy texture, lively acidity and a finely etched chalky backbone. Long, elegant and wonderfully persistent, the finish lingers with saline freshness and impressive mineral precision.
