Fermented and matured in both seasoned foudre and stainless steel. A light, bright green gold. 15 g/L. Very bright with aromas of green apple, orange blossom and citrus flower. The balance between the wine's gentle sweetness and very bright, appley acidity is spot on. Has Sunday yum cha written all over it. Drink 2025 to 2030.

95 points Philip Rich for Halliday Wine Companion, Special Value, July 2025

Made in an off-dry style with mineral purity. Aromas of slate, white flowers, flint, lemon blossoms and crushed stones. The palate is textural, with a fine line of acidity and gentle sweetness. Drink or hold.

93 points James Suckling, August 2025

Ray Nadeson and Maree Collis established Lethbridge in 1996 in the Moorabool Valley, northwest of Geelong, on a site with viticultural roots stretching back to 1874. Biodynamic farming and minimal intervention in the winery have been central to the Lethbridge philosophy from the outset — the belief that the best wines express the unique character of the places they come from.

The 2024 Riesling is sourced from Barrie Provens' Barwite vineyard in the King Valley, a cool climate site that has supplied Lethbridge with Riesling fruit for close to two decades. Fruit was partially whole bunch pressed and wild fermented in small batches across both large format oak and stainless steel, then aged on lees before bottling. Fermented to a natural residual sugar of 13g/L, the wine sits in off-dry territory. This deliberate winemaking decision seeks to balance the acidity and fruit in a natural equilibrium rather than pursuing dryness for its own sake.

The 2024 is delightfully floral and expressive with orange blossom, citrus flower and lemon curd on the nose, and a bright mineral quality threading through. The palate is textural and lively, with appley acidity and gentle sweetness working in seamless balance through to a long, rounded finish.

A natural food wine, and well-suited for example to lighter Vietnamese and Thai dishes
