Crafted by the Peter Lehmann winemaking team, it reflects the estate’s philosophy of sourcing exceptional fruit from the Barossa’s surrounding high-altitude valleys to capture finesse, freshness, and varietal character.

The fruit is sourced from selected vineyards in the Adelaide Hills, where cool nights and long growing seasons allow Pinot Noir to develop delicate aromatics and natural acidity. After hand harvesting, the grapes are fermented in small open fermenters with gentle plunging to extract colour and fine tannins, then matured in seasoned French oak barriques to build texture and complexity while preserving the purity of the fruit.

In the glass it shows a bright ruby red hue. The aroma is fragrant and inviting, with red cherry, raspberry, and strawberry notes alongside hints of forest floor, spice, and a touch of oak. The palate is medium bodied and silky, showing vibrant red fruit framed by supple tannins and lively acidity. The finish is long and elegant, with subtle savoury nuances that add depth and charm.

It pairs beautifully with duck, mushroom risotto, charcuterie, or roast chicken, and is equally enjoyable on its own. While drinking beautifully now, it will continue to evolve gracefully over the next five to seven years, gaining subtle earthy and truffle complexity.
