Pizzini Il Soffio Prosecco from the King Valley is a bright, lively and delicately perfumed sparkling made by one of Australia’s most beloved Italian-heritage families. The Pizzinis were pioneers of Prosecco in the King Valley, recognising early that the cool slopes, high altitude and pristine alpine breezes of Whitfield and Myrrhee could produce Glera with purity, citrus lift and that signature gently frothy sparkle. Il Soffio means “the breath”, a name chosen to evoke both the wine’s airy freshness and the soft, featherlight bubbles that make it such a joy to drink. Fruit is picked early to preserve zing and crunch, then cool fermented in stainless steel to lock in fragrance and clarity before being lightly carbonated to create its clean, crisp style.

The aromatics are fresh and inviting, offering white peach, green apple, pear and lemon zest alongside soft floral notes of jasmine and acacia. A whisper of alpine herbs and wet stone adds finesse and a sense of place. With a little air, hints of melon, elderflower and subtle honeysuckle bring extra charm.
