From the elevated vineyards of Watervale in the Clare Valley, Tim Gramp Riesling reflects both regional tradition and a contemporary focus on purity and drinkability. The Gramp name carries deep roots in Australian wine history, and this expression highlights why Watervale has become one of the country’s most celebrated Riesling subregions. Red loam over limestone soils, warm sunny days and crisp evening temperatures combine to produce fruit of striking aromatic lift, vibrant acidity and finely etched mineral character.

A pale straw colour with brilliant green flashes shimmers in the glass. Aromas rise with classic Clare Valley intensity, revealing lime zest, green apple and lemon blossom layered with hints of jasmine, talc and wet stone. There is an immediate sense of freshness and clarity that feels both invigorating and beautifully composed.

The palate is crisp, linear and mouthwatering, delivering flavours of citrus, kaffir lime and crunchy orchard fruit framed by electric natural acidity. A chalky mineral thread drives the long, refreshing finish, giving the wine precision and persistence without weight. While irresistible in its youth, this Riesling will evolve gracefully over eight to twelve years, developing notes of toast, honey and gentle kerosene complexity.
