A little Piedmontese sunshine in a glass, Alasia Moscato d'Asti is wonderfully fragrant, gently sparkling and impossible not to enjoy. Produced by Araldica, a cooperative established in 1954 in Castel Boglione, it celebrates the region's beloved Moscato Bianco grape. The rolling hills and limestone rich soils of southern Piedmont provide ideal conditions for its delicate perfume and refreshing acidity.
Pale straw yellow with golden reflections and a playful, delicate fizz. Fresh peach, ripe apricot and juicy mandarin mingle with orange blossom, honeysuckle and a hint of sage. Light, luscious and gently sweet, with lively citrus acidity keeping everything beautifully fresh. The finish is fragrant, bright and wonderfully moreish.
Delicious with passionfruit pavlova, peach and almond tart, or coconut panna cotta with fresh mango. For something unexpected, try spicy Thai prawn salad, where the gentle sweetness is a delightful contrast to chilli and lime.
Cellaring: Drink now to 2028. Best enjoyed young for its fresh fruit, floral perfume and delicate sparkle.
