Bel Colle Langhe Nebbiolo captures classic Piedmont character with fragrant fruit, elegant structure and exceptional value.
Bel Colle has been crafting traditional Piedmont wines since the early 1970s, earning a reputation for authentic expressions of the Langhe's most celebrated grape varieties. Based in Verduno, one of Barolo's historic villages, the estate combines generations of regional knowledge with thoughtful winemaking to produce Nebbiolo that is approachable in its youth while remaining unmistakably true to its origins.
The 2025 vintage delivered beautifully expressive fruit, with warm days and cool evenings encouraging generous flavour development while preserving Nebbiolo's hallmark freshness and aromatic lift. Careful handling in the winery allows the purity of the fruit and the character of the Langhe's limestone-rich soils to take centre stage.
Bright garnet with youthful ruby hues, the bouquet reveals aromas of wild cherry, raspberry and redcurrant layered with rose petals, violets and subtle spice. As the wine evolves, hints of liquorice, dried herbs and earthy complexity emerge, adding depth and classic Piedmont character. The palate is vibrant and beautifully structured, combining juicy red fruits with fine chalky tannins, lively acidity and a graceful mineral thread. Elegant and persistent, the finish lingers with floral perfume, savoury spice and refined balance.
A wonderful partner for mushroom risotto, braised beef, osso buco, truffle pasta or aged Parmigiano Reggiano. Delicious in its youth yet capable of graceful development, this is a superb introduction to the elegance of Nebbiolo.
