Vibrant & savoury Bellarine Peninsula white with floral citrus, apple & subtle spice
Ray Nadeson and Maree Collis established Lethbridge in 1996 in the Moorabool Valley, northwest of Geelong, on a site with viticultural roots stretching back to 1874. Biodynamic farming and minimal intervention in the winery have been central to the Lethbridge philosophy from the outset, the belief that the best wines express the unique character of the places they come from.
The Ooh La La Chardonnay takes a slightly more playful approach while retaining the precision and detail that have made Lethbridge one of Victoria's most admired producers.
For 2025, the fruit comes from Hat Rock Vineyard on the Bellarine, where black self-mulching clay over limestone buckshot lends both depth and energy. The parcels were whole-bunch pressed and wild-fermented in new French oak, then aged on fine lees in older 300L and 500L puncheons. The wine completed 100% wild malolactic fermentation.
This is classic Lethbridge Chardonnay: generous yet precise, with citrus, apple and floral notes, subtle spice, and a savoury edge that carries through a long, vibrant finish.
Perfect with grilled King George whiting, prawn linguine with chilli and parsley, roast chicken with lemon and thyme or a simple zucchini and ricotta tart. Enjoy over the next three to five years while its youthful charm and freshness are at their peak.
