Mike Press Wines was established by well-regarded winemaker Mike Press with the planting of 22 hectares of vines in 1998 and 1999 at 400-500 metres of elevation in the Kenton Valley of Adelaide Hills, just outside the town of Lobethal.
Bob and Yuko Harris purchased the vineyard and the business in 2017 with the commitment to carry forward the established reputation for quality and excellent value, with wines today made by Josh Waechter at the winery in McLaren Flat shared by Oliver’s Taranga.
The white grapes are harvested in the early hours of the day, and cool fermented in stainless steel. All wines are filtered ahead of bottling.
