The name Cold Chalk reflects the limestone influenced soils found in parts of the Adelaide Hills, which contribute a subtle mineral edge to the wine. The vineyards benefit from long growing seasons and cooling breezes that help build flavour complexity while maintaining freshness and balance.

The wine shows a pale straw colour with bright green reflections. Aromas open with white peach, nectarine and lemon zest layered with grapefruit, subtle oak spice and hints of roasted hazelnut. As the wine evolves further notes of almond and gentle brioche begin to appear. The palate is vibrant and finely balanced with flavours of citrus and stone fruit supported by lively acidity and a smooth, lightly textured mouthfeel. The finish is long and refreshing with a delicate mineral thread that reflects the cool climate of the Adelaide Hills.
