Pear white peach citrus and lively Mornington freshness in a vibrant cool climate white.
One of my favourite go-to drinks for something delicious, textural yet encased in refreshing acidity and a bit different. It’s juicy and tangy, lightly flavoured with citrus and honeydew melon with savoury edges of daikon and fennel. There’s a light tug of phenolics adding some definition. Just pour and enjoy.

Quealy has long been one of the pioneers of the Mornington Peninsula, earning a devoted following for championing alternative grape varieties and producing wines that celebrate individuality and regional character. Under the guidance of winemaker Tom McCarthy, the estate continues Kathleen Quealy and Kevin McCarthy's vision of creating vibrant, food friendly wines that reflect the Peninsula's cool maritime climate. Pobblebonk Field Blend is one of the winery's most distinctive releases, bringing together complementary varieties in a fresh, expressive and thoroughly drinkable style.
The 2025 vintage delivered beautifully balanced fruit, with warm days moderated by cool sea breezes that preserved aromatic lift and natural acidity. Sourced from estate vineyards, the field blend is harvested and vinified to capture freshness, texture and complexity, allowing each variety to contribute its own personality while creating a seamless and harmonious wine.
The colour is a bright pale straw with a faint silver hue. Aromas of white peach, ripe pear and citrus blossom are lifted by honeysuckle, fresh ginger and delicate spice. The palate is lively and beautifully textured, combining juicy orchard fruit with vibrant citrus, a gentle savoury edge and refreshing mineral acidity. The finish is long, crisp and wonderfully moreish, making it a wine that is equally at home as an aperitif or at the table.
Delicious with grilled calamari, spicy prawn tacos, Vietnamese rice paper rolls, roast pork with fennel, zucchini fritters or a platter of soft cheeses. Enjoy while young to appreciate its vibrant fruit, freshness and unmistakable Mornington Peninsula character.
