Tim Adams established his Clare Valley winery with his wife Pam in 1987 and has been making consistent estate grown wines ever since.
Pinot Gris was planted at the Ladera vineyard in the late 1990s after Tim's visit to Alsace and he has been making a consistent and popular expression of the variety ever since. The 2025 was a challenging season of early budburst, frost, drought and persistent heat but careful vineyard management delivered clean, well-defined fruit. Harvested early in the cool of the morning, pressed and fermented slowly in stainless steel to preserve aromatic freshness.
Pale gold, the nose shows corella pear, lychee and honeydew melon with a touch of citrus. The palate is round and fresh with crisp acidity and a clean, fruit-forward finish.
Best enjoyed young and well chilled, this would be a good bet to take to your local BYO Vietnamese or noodle shop.
