Vietti Roero Arneis has fresh pear, white peach and acacia blossom aromas, with crisp citrus, gentle texture and a delicate almond finish.
30ish year old arneis vines from the centre of Roero, Santo Stefano Roero, are harvested and pressed cool, see no MLF and rested in stainless steel, with a portion of the natural CO₂ retained for a subtle lift. Light lemon, subtle quince, meadow herbs streams across the palate, with fine stony spice and ample buzzy minerality. Very fresh, well suited to summer salads and shellfish.

Piedmont might be famous for its magnificent reds, but Vietti proves the region has a delicious white wine story to tell. The family estate, established in Castiglione Falletto in the late nineteenth century, played a pioneering role in reviving Arneis during the 1960s. Today, winemaker Elena Penna continues that tradition, drawing on the sandy, calcareous soils of Roero to produce a beautifully fragrant, characterful white.
Pale straw yellow with delicate green reflections. Fresh pear, white peach and crisp green apple mingle with acacia blossom, citrus zest and a hint of almond. The 2025 vintage is lively and wonderfully refreshing, with juicy orchard fruit, gentle texture and a subtle mineral edge. A delicate almond note adds interest to the clean, elegant finish.
A lovely match for zucchini flowers stuffed with ricotta and lemon, grilled calamari with parsley and chilli, or delicate prawn and fennel risotto. An excellent excuse to explore Piedmont beyond Nebbiolo.
Cellaring: Drink now to 2029. Most appealing while its delicate perfume and fresh fruit remain vibrant.
