Bright, saline & pithy High Eden white wine with notes of spicy citrus, crisp pears and white stonefruit
The 2026 Mountadam Pinot Gris continues the house style of offering a style that in aromas and flavours lean towards the richer Gris style while feeling distinctly bright, saline and citrus pithy in the way of the Grigio-styled wines.
Showing spicy notes of ripe citrus, crisp pears and white stonefruit, the wine is dry, textural and refreshing. It’s a style that is delicious on its own and very easy to pair at the dinner table. Would be delicious with Korean savoury jeon pancakes, Taiwanese salt and pepper crispy chicken or Nyonya-style steamed fish.
More about this wine
The fruit was harvested in the early morning, the grapes were pressed within hours of harvest, and the free-run juice and very light pressings cold settled and racked before a long cool fermentation in stainless steel to dryness.
