Soft and generous fruit forward style for easy summertime drinking
Sourced from two of Sidewood’s estate Adelaide Hills vineyards in Charleston and Oakbank, a part of the fruit was whole bunch pressed and wild fermented in older French barrels before settling on its yeast lees, building an adult textural thread through the palate for that little extra something above the core citrussed line that’s deliciously refreshing, leaning towards a Riesling like feel, Pink Lady-like apple flavour hints as well. Tangy, pithy, mouthwatering – bring on summer.
93 points Tony Love for Wine Pilot, October 2026
The fruit for this wine came from Sidewood’s Charleston and Oakbank vineyards. A portion of the juice was fermented in large-format oak barrels for enhanced texture, while the overall gaol was for a fresh and vibrant style.
A versatile drink now kind of Gris with soft and generous feel that drinks well on its own and would be at home with a wide variety of food.
