Grant Gurge Great Grandfather Percival was an entrepreneur of his time. He started the first family winery during the depression, which along with some of his vineyards, still stand proudly today. A well-known writer and poet, his hardworking nature and perseverance continues to inspire.
Sourced from long term growers across the western, central and southern Barossa. Mutiple vineyards provide parcels of their most premium fruit, especially chosen to make the best representation of this variety for rich a bold Barossan Shiraz.
Matured in French oak barriques for a total of 17 months.
Deep red with very vibrant purple hues. Multi layered aroma of sweet raspberry coulis, chocolate truffles and toasty oak. A bold and rich palate featuring raspberry and chocolate, the fruit forward palate matched by its bold tannin structure. Drink now - 10 years Pair with dukkha crusted lamb backstrap served with charred broccolini, roasted vine cherry tomatoes and a cumin spiced yogurt and lemon dressing.
