56/32/12% Piper's River chardonnay/pinot noir/pinot meunier from '18 base vintage with 5% reserves. Vinified in the méthode traditionnelle, aged more than 12 months on lees; 9g/l dosage. A rich and complex declaration of the Kreglinger style, this is an enticing synergy of taut citrus and the generosity of peach and strawberry, confidently underlined by the toasty, spicy, honeyed complexity of maturity. It's at once full and rich, yet focused and structured. Concluding with good persistence and the inimitable tension of Piper's River acidity, it delivers a lot for its price.
