Winemakers comments:
Pale yellow gold with green gold hues. Complex aromas of green apple, fragrant citrus, lemon curd and cherry stone, with delicate nuances of toasted brioche and nougat. Rich flavours of apple, citrus, red cherry and nougat, are beautifully balanced on the palate with layers of texture, an elegant bead, and bright acidity, that provide a generous mouthfeel and long, dry finish. A perfect aperitif.
A beautifully characterful, expressive and powerful blanc de noirs that masterfully captures the depth of pinot noir and the tension of the heights of Lenswood. Pinot noir speaks in a deep voice of satsuma plums, black cherries and mixed spice, riding a line of focused, finely poised acidity. 16 vintages and 2 decades of maturity unite to build layers of dark fruitcake, ginger nut biscuits and dark chocolate, culminating in a long and full yet impeccably tense finish.

(The fourth disgorgement, and the first with its new name, containing material up to 16 years on lees) This bottling is purposely finer and more understated than previous releases of the Blanc de Noirs, with a more delicate, restrained palate of real finesse. It retains the quince-paste, toast, vanilla and subtle Vegemite nuances of earlier releases. A very complex, rich wine of great character and poise. 27 JUN 2016
