Altair Brut is predominantly made from Pinot Noir with a small percentage of Chardonnay grapes added for finesse. The fruit is selected from the cool south-facing slopes high in the Adelaide Hills.
Sweet strawberry, cherry and spice aromas follow through to the palate, where the lively bubbles add lift and balance to these fruit flavours. This wine has wonderful length and supple mouth feel.
A blend of pinot noir and chardonnay grown at Lenswood and Piccadilly Valley, 80% from '17. Hand-picked, whole-bunch pressed, largely fermented in tank, a small percentage of pinot made as a red wine. Delicious rose, with small red fruits/berries, and a supple mouthfeel. Bargain.
