Howard Park’s award winning Chardonnay is handcrafted from grapes sourced from two vineyards, Mount Barrow vineyard in Mount Barker (46%) and Allingham (54%) vineyard in Margaret River.
The Howard Park Chardonnay is a modern style of Australian’ barrel-fermented Chardonnay: elegant, lean and sophisticated. A wine with boundless subtleties of flavour, complexity and style that will age elegantly over the next 5 to 7 years.
‘Buttery complex bouquet, lots of nuances from oak, lees, fruit and probably malolactic. The palate is soft and round, gentle and plump, with the kind of soft shape and texture that comes with malolactic. Seamless acidity. Very fine wine; supple, silky and complete. Lovely now, but it will reveal more after a little cellar time.

‘The cool altitude of Mount Barrow in Great Southern unites with the refreshing south of Margaret River to create a chardonnay of fragrant elegance, driven by a refined core of delicate lemon and white peach fruit, tense yet harmonious and very long. One of the greats from Howard Park.’
