50% Derwent Valley, 50% Coal River Valley, destemmed and crushed, fermented with cultured yeast, 2 months on lees. Still quartz-white; I'm tempted to say ‘made in the vineyard'. Fine citrus flavours are given dimension and length by bracing acidity. Received the Consistency of Excellence Award at the Melbourne Wine Awards '17 for the '15, '16 and '17 vintages.
