Yarrabank Brut Rosé from the Yarra Valley is a sophisticated and beautifully crafted méthode traditionnelle sparkling wine that blends freshness, finesse, and subtle power in a true cool-climate expression. Created in partnership between Yering Station and the renowned Champagne house Devaux, this wine showcases the Yarra Valley’s potential to produce world-class sparkling wines with texture, purity and elegance.
Made predominantly from Pinot Noir with a touch of Chardonnay, the fruit is sourced from high-altitude, cool-climate vineyards that deliver bright acidity and delicate aromatics. The Brut Rosé is produced using the traditional method, with extended lees ageing in bottle to develop creamy autolytic notes, fine bubbles and complex layers of fruit and structure. A small amount of Pinot Noir red wine is added to the blend to create its delicate salmon hue and add extra depth of flavour.
On the nose, expect aromas of wild strawberry, cherry, rose petal, and hints of fresh pastry. The palate is crisp and vibrant, with red berry fruit, citrus, and subtle spice riding over a fine mousse and chalky mineral finish. There’s richness from time on lees but always a sense of lift and restraint.
Perfect with charcuterie, sashimi, or roast duck salad, Yarrabank Brut Rosé is a serious, food-friendly sparkling that combines Champagne-inspired technique with Yarra Valley vibrancy.
