Ca di Bruno captures the spirit of traditional Piedmont winemaking, producing wines that celebrate the elegance and authenticity of the Langhe hills. Working with fruit sourced from some of the region's finest sites, the winery focuses on purity of expression and allowing Nebbiolo to tell the story of place.

Barolo is often described as the king of wines and the wine of kings, a title earned through centuries of admiration and the remarkable longevity of Nebbiolo grown on the calcareous soils of the Langhe. The 2020 vintage produced beautifully balanced wines, combining the structure and perfume expected of Barolo with a generosity that makes them approachable earlier than many classic years.

The colour is a brilliant garnet red with youthful ruby reflections. Aromas of rose petals, red cherry and wild strawberry rise from the glass alongside orange peel, liquorice and sweet spice. The palate is finely structured and elegant, layering vibrant red fruits over silky tannins and fresh acidity. Notes of tar, dried herbs and earthy complexity emerge with air, while the finish remains long, savoury and unmistakably Barolo.

A magnificent partner for truffle risotto, braised beef cheeks, duck ragù with pappardelle or porcini mushroom dishes shared around a winter table. Enjoy with a decant in its youth or cellar confidently through the 2040s.
