A 90/7/3% cabernet sauvignon/malbec/petit verdot blend; the finest 10 to 12 barrels selected after 15 months' maturation, the base wines vinified separately and finishing fermentation and mlf in barrel (80/20% new/second fill). A high-quality outcome that is supple yet complex, with blackcurrant fruit riding on the back of ripe tannins and integrated oak. The blend is made 20 months post-vintage and spends a further 15 months in barrel thereafter. Lake Breeze's flagship wine; top gold at the Royal Adelaide Wine Show ’22, Class 49 (Bordeaux blends).
