Fruit is sourced from carefully selected hillside vineyards in Gaiole, where galestro, limestone and clay soils encourage naturally low yields and exceptional fruit intensity. The superb 2022 vintage produced beautifully balanced wines, combining vibrant aromatics with freshness and refined structure, resulting in a Chianti Classico Riserva that is both approachable and built to age.

The colour is a deep ruby red with youthful garnet highlights. Aromas of ripe cherry, red plum and wild blackberry are complemented by violet, dried herbs, cedar and sweet baking spice. The palate is beautifully proportioned, carrying vibrant red and dark berry fruits across silky tannins and bright acidity. Hints of tobacco, liquorice and earthy minerality emerge through a long, savoury finish that reflects the timeless style of this historic estate.
