Made from rows 55 to 77 from the 3.2ha, south-facing D block planted with MV6 between 1995 and 1998. Whole bunches (25%) and matured in 70% new oak. The prettiest and most delicate of Clyde Park's 2022 single-block wines. Aromas of satsuma plums, dark cherries, rose petals, incense and some potpouri notes. Sweetly fruited and finely tuned on the palate, there's a delicacy that's appealing. The tannins are silky and long and while this can be enjoyed in its youth, this has the potential to improve over the next six to eight years.
