24 months on lees; 2g/L dosage. Bright gold with green tinges. Aromas of freshly baked bread together with a little marzipan and cinnamon. Dry, flavoursome and with a nice touch of grip on the long, crisp and refreshing finish. Drink to 2028.

Roma’s Grace is an opulent yet poised sparkling wine with toasted bread aromatics, pure citrus fruit, and a long, refined finish that lingers with generosity and warmth.

It is named Roma, founding partner and grandmother of the Helen’s Hill family. This is the third disgorgement of the 2022 vintage, with 42 months on lees, with the extra time deepening its character and richness.

About this producer

Helen’s Hill has been a co-venture of the McIntosh and Nalder families since 1997, and is named after Helen Fraser, the former owner of the property located in the Coldstream area of Yarra Valley. All wines are made on-site from estate-grown fruit and guided to bottles by long-time winemaker Scott McCarthy. The total area planted to vines today is 40 hectares, with focus on Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.
