Their Meursault is no exception—crafted with Chardonnay grown in limestone-rich soils that give the wine both finesse and structure.

The vineyards around Meursault are famous for producing Chardonnays that are generous yet refined, and Drouhin’s take is all about balance. The fruit is hand-harvested, and fermentation takes place with indigenous yeasts in French oak barrels, around 20 percent of which are new. The wine then ages for 12 to 15 months on lees, adding texture and complexity without losing freshness.
